Past events
Peer Support Group's main events are orientation and the Welcoming Bash, which are both important steps in creating a smooth onboarding of the freshies into their upcoming university life. Besides, PSG tries to improve our students' welfare by holding workshops, such as Share n Spark or other events, in a fun way. While PSG keeps on supporting the student community, our students' support also helps us to grow and operate continuously. To appreciate your reciprocal support, we always have a peer appreciation week at the end of the year with different activities!
Orientation
The first weeks of every semester are always the hectic week for PSG. We lead the freshies, particularly the Psychology students, to their designated venue. We also handle registrations for the freshies, and accompany them while waiting for the briefing session to start.
To let freshies familiarize the environment, our peer supporters will be touring them around the campus to introduce those accessible facilities that could be useful while studying in HELP University.
Meet the Seniors is a game session that happens after campus tour, where freshies get play around with their own peers and peer supporters at different game stations. Freshies could make new friends, in the meantime, strengthen their memory about the campus layout in an enjoyable day, especially after a long day of speeches and information bombard.
Club and Societies (CNS) is specially designated for clubs in HELP University to recruit and promote their club to the new students, so do us! Make sure to drop by when you see us and you may get some little surprises :D
Welcoming Bash
Welcoming Bash happens closely after orientation. It serves as a themed social night with games to let freshies connect with others. This event is fully managed by our peer supporters, which is a great opportunity for people who wants to experience planning and managing an event. A big thanks to our peer supporters who have brought laughter and wonderful memories to everyone <3
